Our Team

Bay Design Associates Architects, P.L. was founded in 1992 as the succession firm founded by Walter Smith, AIA, in 1983 when Steve Jernigan, FAIA, LEED AP joined as a partner.  George Williams, AIA, was added as a partner in 1995.  The emphasis was not to focus on growth at the expense of personal attention of one of the partners one every project.  As we have grown, we have added a talented group of young architects and designers to our team.

Partners Steve Jernigan and George Williams have over 80 years of combined experience a variety of project types throughout the southeastern United States.  They have an excellent track record with both public and private clients and have a reputation for consistently meeting budget and schedule goals with minimal change orders.
